Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that restoring parts of your home — especially beams, stonework, or listed features — can raise a lot of questions. Our aim is to make the process as clear and straightforward as possible. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions we’re asked about how we work, what to expect, and how to prepare for a project. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to get in touch.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes — we’re happy to provide free, no-obligation quotes. Just get in touch with a few details about your project and we’ll guide you through the next steps.

Is your method really dust-free and mess-free?

Our dry, low-pressure cleaning system is far cleaner than traditional sandblasting or chemical stripping. While some dust is inevitable, we carry out full clean-ups after every project to leave your space tidy and ready to use.

What areas do you cover?

We operate across the South West and Oxfordshire, with team members based in both Somerset and Devon. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, just ask.

Is your process safe for listed buildings and historic properties?

Yes — our system is designed to be gentle on delicate surfaces, making it ideal for conservation work and listed buildings. We always assess the surface before starting and highlight any risks in advance.

Do I need to prepare the room before you arrive?

Yes — we ask that the room is clear of furniture and personal belongings before we begin. If we need to move items, additional charges may apply and we can’t accept liability for any accidental damage.

Can you remove anti-foul coatings from marine surfaces?

We can — our system is suitable for the safe removal of anti-foul paint from a range of marine surfaces without damaging the material underneath.
